Spring fever has set in at highschool just in time for the pre-final cramming to begin. I think there must be an ongoing competition between teachers to see how much information can be stuffed into student's brains before June 9th. Sr. Chem Teacher has almost finished the book...we're coming alarmingly close to the chapter on nuclear chemistry. She periodically hands out AP and college level worksheets just to see how much we are capable of. When faced with a formula (college) that took up the entire blackboard, she remarked "oh come on now! This is way over our heads, so let's do it!" Meanwhile, we are about to begin translating some of the 7 books on the Gallic Wars in Latin class..that should be fun!

Ok. Quite enough complaining for one night! Mea culpa! On the bright side, lunch table discussions have become quite interesting. Half my friends claim to be atheists, and the other half are strong Catholics so we find a lot to talk about. One of my friends carries the New Testament, I carry the CCC and the latest issue of Envoy, so we're all set for whatever may come!

Sorry this post is so scattered...more later when my thoughts clear from the intricasies of Latin and redox reactions...
