Things that I would appreciate prayers on:
1. Friend of our family's that is very sick with leukemia. For him and his whole family.
2. My sister and her husband. Things are rough for them right now.
3. For a friend who is on a 5-day retreat right now. Also for this person's health, and vocation.
4. That I can pass the chem final on Monday.
5. For my brother who is returning to college tomorrow

Thank you!

"Blah" is the word that best describes highschool. Somedays it is really good, somedays it is crummy, mostly it just is. I feel better though because one of my good friends in Heaven, St. Teresa of the Andes (another young religious Sister) didn't like school much either. Some of her letters to fellow classmates on the topic are quite interesting and funny!!! Sometime I will post excerpts.

My little nephew is getting cuter by the day. He's trying and trying to crawl, but no luck so far. He does have a bad habit though. He trusts anyone holding him immensely, and thinks nothing of flinging himself quite suddenly into the open air. Lucky for him we have good reflexes!! Hmm...if I remember correctly, Mike did a reflection about the trust of children in relation to trust in God for us in 8th grade (he has a few nephews who fling themselves as well!).

Midterms are approaching rapidly. *sigh* The only one I'm really scared about is Chemistry. Moles, moles, and more moles...

Have a blessed rest of the day!

Well, the rain finally quit and has now turned to snow. Big improvement!

Happy Feast of Theophany (for Eastern Riters anyway)! I went to Vigil Mass this evening which was absolutely beautiful. Part of the Theophany Liturgy is the blessing of the year's supply of Holy Water.

"All you who have been baptised into Christ
have put on Christ,
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!"

I'm looking forward to Youth 2000 (if, God willing, I can make it). Prayers for that please, folks!

It's beginning to feel a little like the three day flood. The rain started at 2pm yesterday and it hasn't quit since. Oh well, good day to stay home and read. Reading material for today:

Please, please continue praying for the friend of mine who is struggling. Thanks!

and hmmmmm....

*continues to think about Carmel*

Happy Feast of Epiphany (and a belated happy Feast of the Holy Name of Jesus)!!!
