If you have not done so already, I strongly encourage you to visit the blog of this Protestant minister swimming the Tiber and coming home. I've been a reader there for a couple of months and have been greatly edified by his courage. Please keep him and his family in your prayers as he resigned from his church position this week, and things will be difficult for awhile.

In other news, Francis Cardinal Arinze celebrated Mass for us this week and a mysterious stranger approached me in the dark, silent hours of the night at the Basilica to pass on a treasure...those are two stories, however, that will have to wait until next week to be told! *smile*
